PROGRAM SUPPORT DIVISION
Technology and Support Group (TSG)

TSG is composed of scientists and engineers of varying backgrounds.  TSG provides technical support and technology transfer to our customers: the states, OSM Field Offices, OSM Headquarters, and academia.  TSG is committed to objective and quality science.  Technical expertise is available in the following fields: hydrology, civil and mining engineering, blasting, soil science, geology, geography, GPS, revegetation, wetlands, and wildlife management, etc.  TSG conducts scientific investigations to determine mining relatedness and effects, provides technical advice to its customers, teaches technical training classes, provides technical support to the TIPS program, conducts forums and workshops to advance technology transfer, and promotes applied science, etc.
